▶️ The reception was hosted and opened by the Norwegian Ambassador, her Excellency, Ine Måreng.
▶️ At the Season Launch, NCCL Chairman and Partner at Advokātu birojs "Spīgulis & Kukainis" Matiss Kukainis thanked the Ambassador for the warm welcome and the Embassy for providing a delicious dinner and refreshments for all attendees. ▶️ We had the pleasure of hearing from the Executive Vice President and CEO of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks about the opening of the largest cookie factory in the Baltic/Scandinavia region that took place on the 14th of September.
▶️ During the event, we welcomed our new members - Olainfarm, META Advisory, Orkla Biscuit Production, Hilton Garden Inn Riga Old Town, Mektron and Vitcake.
▶️ NCCL Chairman and Partner at Advokātu birojs "Spīgulis & Kukainis" Matiss Kukainis handed an appreciation plaque to our partner TRY DIG for their outstanding pro bono services in building a new and modern digital interface for the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and for their continuous support and active engagement in the Norwegian Latvian business community.
This year, NCCL Season Launch & Reception was special in many ways. Most importantly, because it was the last event for NCCL Executive Director Ilze Garoza who has been an invaluable part of the growth and success of the NCCL over the last 5 years. The Norwegian Ambassador, Her Excellency, Ine Måreng thanked Ilze for her dedication and hard work. On behalf of the NCCL Board, Chairman and Partner at Advokātu birojs "Spīgulis & Kukainis" Matiss Kukainis handed Ilze Garoza a certificate of appreciation for her service to NCCL over the last 5 years.
At the Season Launch the new NCCL Executive Director Krista Vahtele was introduced as well and the members had the chance to meet her for the first time.
