NCCL Meets with Liepāja Special Economic Zone (LSEZ)
The Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia was pleased to join the newly appointed Ambassador of Norway to Latvia Martin Sørby for a meeting with Uldis Hmieļevskis, CEO of the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (LSEZ), to learn more about the business and investment opportunities offered by Liepāja.
Norwegian businesses already have a strong presence in the city. Brimer Liepaja LSEZ AS successfully manufactures large-scale composite structures at the Port of Liepāja, including solutions for underwater cable protection and fish farming. Meanwhile Northern Europe Energy Group AS is planning several new investment projects in Liepāja.
