Self-isolation requirement for arrivals from abroad will now be adapted to Latvia's cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence level, said Jurijs Perevoscikovs, director of the Disease Risk Analysis and Prevention Department at the CDC, in a press conference on Friday.

According to the latest data, Latvia's cumulative 14-day incidence was 40.2 cases per 100,000 residents for Thursday.

The new self-isolation threshold will come into force on Saturday. So far, self-isolation had to be observed by people who returned from countries where Covid-19 incidence was higher than 25 cases per 100,000 residents.
