President of Latvia meets with the Prime Minister of Norway

On 25 September, the President of Latvia, Egils Levits during his visit to the UN General Assembly in New York, met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, HE Ms Erna Solber to discuss Baltic-Nordic cooperation. 

During the meeting between President Levits and Prime Minister Solberg, both parties agreed that further deepening of already productive cooperation is needed. President of Latvia and Norwegian Prime Minister also discussed Europe's cyber security and digital challenges and exchanged opinions on vision for tackling these challenges. Other issues raised during the meeting included NATO agenda and Latvian-Norwegian cooperation in the UN, reports the Chancery of the Persident of Latvia.
