Norway at present in the eighth largest investor in Latvia with direct investments exceeding EUR 350 million, LETA learned from the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in
Latvia. The total turnover of companies in Latvia with Norwegian capital, according to Lursoft, exceeded EUR 1.15 billion, according to Lursoft.

These companies employ 6,200 people. The chamber of commerce metioned the four largest Norwegian investment projects of the past years, including the decision of Norwegian airlines to open international services center in Riga.
