NCCL Launches its New Season at the Brand New Origo One

17 September 2020

With a visit to the most recent development project by Linstow Center Management in the city of Riga - Origo One Business Center scheduled for Thursday, September 17, the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia is officially re-launching its active season this year.

"We are very excited and honored to launch the new season at the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia at the brand new Class A offices of the Origo One Business center," says Matīss Kukainis, the Chairman of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Partner at Spīgulis & Kukainis Law Firm. "As the President of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia, I am very proud of the work Linstow has been performing in Latvia over the past 20+ years, and that Linstow trusts Latvia, as a country to invest in, as evidenced by their substantial investments in the Latvian economy, year after year," adds Matīss Kukainis.

"Linstow is currently finalising the largest development we have done so far in Latvia. Origo shopping centre and Origo One business centre is a large urban mixed-use development, consisting of both retail, office and parking facilities. The project will connect to important city infrastructure including the upcoming Rail Baltic station and meets high sustainability and innovations standards. Linstow has a long term view on our developments in Latvia and we believe the Origo project is a good example of this," says Frode Gronvold, CEO of Linstow Center Management.

The official NCCL season launch will gather NCCL members and will opened by the Norwegian Ambassador to Latvia Kristian Ødegaard. "As Norwegian ambassador in Riga I'm very proud of Norwegian companies' investments in Latvia, and their contribution to value creation, employment, tax incomes and welfare in this country. The Origo center in Riga is a concrete example illustrating this point," says Mr. Ødegaard. "Norwegians have been investing in Latvia already since the first year of the reestablishment of Latvia's independence and I welcome all new projects that help strengthen bilateral economic relations and trade," adds Ambassador of Norway.

About the "Origo One" project

The new "Origo One" business centre is an innovative development project that is in line with Linstow's strategy for the development of mixed urban use, with similar projects in Norway. Undoubtedly, one of the main advantages of the new business centre "Origo One" in the market is its location. This territory already serves as the main public transport hub of Riga. However, in the context of the "Rail Baltica" project, the importance of the site will play a more important role at the international level in the near future. In addition, the new offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology solutions. They will be transformable, mobile and functional. In turn, "Origo One's" expanded green areas will create a unique urban space to enjoy. The first three floors of the center are occupied by the shopping center Origo, whereas the fourth floor and up houses a Business center with tenants representing internationally and nationally known brands such as "Narvesen & Caffeine", which will soon be joined by "Hili Properties", "Colliers International", "LETA" and "TVNET".

Currently there is still some space available at Origo One Business Center, and if you have any inquiries regarding same, please contact the director of leasing Evita Kalniņa at Linstow email Once again, great job Linstow, and the NCCL is proud to have Linstow as a member!
