Message from NCCL Chairman of the Board
22 December 2021
As we are closing the year, please accept our deepest gratitude for your cooperation in 2021! It has been another challenging year, but with your support and active engagement we have managed to pull it through and remain one of the most active (top 3, baby!) foreign chambers of commerce in Latvia!
We would like to say a special thanks to all our members who upgraded their membership and sponsored our activities this past year. Money well spent, and good Karma! Takk skal du ha! In 2021, we have had 30 highly interactive events with and audience that was bigger than the year before.
In cooperation with our close institutional partners - the Norwegian Embassy in Latvia, the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Riga and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia we have managed to implement various projects promoting Norwegian investments in Latvia, bilateral trade and knowledge transfer in the area of sustainability and green transition. Next year we will continue to build on these partnerships and engage in new ones focusing on expanding networks and creating new opportunities for our members.
Also, if COVID does not stop us, we plan on organizing a trade mission to Oslo in 2022! Thus, brush up on your Norwegian language, renew your passport, and get your business cards ready!
This year we added nine new members to our chamber!! The pandemic, which has disrupted our lives in many ways, was not successful in disrupting NCCL in 2021, nor will it in 2022! Until then, we will keep pushing and innovating through the time of disruption and uncertainty! God Jul and ha et Godt Nytt år! to all our members and friends! We are looking forward to close (but not more than 2 meters) cooperation in 2022!
On behalf of the Board of the NCCL,
Matiss Davis Kukainis
