BlueOrange Opens Accounts Remotely for Enterprises in Europe

BlueOrange Bank provides new opportunities for servicing legal entities - starting this summer, a business account can be opened remotely by both Latvian entrepreneurs and companies registered in any country of the European Economic Area (EEA), as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Remote identification of business clients is carried out not only with the use of an electronic signature, but also through a video communication. Thus, BlueOrange is the first bank in Latvia to provide a remote business account opening for entrepreneurs from such a wide geographic area and with improved identification methods.
"Our bank, primarily developing services for companies, has significantly expanded the opportunities for entrepreneurs who conduct their business both in Latvia and other EEA countries, as well as in the UK and Switzerland. It should be noted that these opportunities are available for those companies whose authorised signatories are residents of the respective countries," says Marina Zaharova, BlueOrange Chief Operating Officer, Project Manager. "We have not only expanded the geography, but also provided the opportunity to open accounts remotely, regardless of company size and turnover. We have made sure that entrepreneurs can choose the most convenient and affordable method of remote identification. The bank is continuously developing the latest technologies to provide clients with up to date services," emphasizes Zaharova.
Remote identification is carried out with the use of technological solutions: video identification or a secure electronic signature, which removes the need to meet with the bank's representative in person or visit the bank's branch. Existing clients can also use BlueOrange remote identification solutions to add new authorised signatories or additional card users, who are residents of the EU, EEA or OECD, and grant them full access to all bank services without any restrictions.
