On November 16, the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (NCCL) organized an informative session on the available financial support programmes implemented by Latvian state-owned development finance institution ALTUM, followed by a presentation about the currently open support schemes to boost export and competitiveness administered by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).
As businesses are currently experiencing turbulent times and are looking for ways to increase their efficiency and competitiveness, it is good to know what state support mechanisms and programmes are available to help businesses achieve these goals. Some of the programmes that were presented during the info session include the available financial aid for increasing energy efficiency, introducing renewable energy and electric cars, and financial support programmes for employee training and export promotion, innovation and digitalization. Many thank to the speakers from ALTUM - Head of ALTUM Centre Region Daina Cinoviča and the Head of Enterprise Energy Efficiency Department at ALTUM Līga Mellēna, LIAA Lead Customer service specialist Arīna Kudrjavceva for joining us and sharing the latest info!
