On May 17, Norway marks the Norwegian Constitution Day, which is an official national holiday in Norway. A noteworthy aspect of the Norwegian Constitution Day is its very non-military nature. All over Norway, children's parades with an abundance of flags form the central elements of the celebration.
Due to the social distancing restrictions put in place by the Norwegian government to stop the spread of corona virus, this year the traditional children's parade has been cancelled. However, nobody has cancelled the national holiday itself. Take a moment to celebrate May 17 by appreciating the values that Norway stand for!
