Breakfast meeting with Jānis Sārts, Director of NATO StratComCOE
21 April 2022
Since Russia launched an invasion in Ukraine on February 24 the life as we knew it in Europe has ended. The European Union is facing a war at its doorstep as Russia is pounding Ukraine with a brute force military, while waging intensive information warfare both domestically and internationally.
Join us on Thursday, April 21 at 9:00, for a breakfast meeting and discussion with Jānis Sārts, Director at NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence, to discuss current challenges faced by Europe, Western response, and ways to strengthen our resilience in the face of a hostile aggressor. Tensions are high in Latvia as well, especially as 9 May is approaching, and the issues that the "celebration" of this date may bring to Riga.
SPEAKER BIO: Jānis Sārts was appointed as a Director of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence In July 2015.
